Explore the Eagle III log home: its massive gable dormers are a light lover's dream

When talking with friends about log homes, it seems that there are two distinct groups people: those who are enchanted by the rustic lifestyle, and those who dread the idea of leaving the comforts of their pristine city palaces for the outdoors.
Those of us who like log homes rarely have a passing interest in the rural lifestyle they give us - we love it. The fundamentals of a life connected to nature are deep rooted in us, and log homes satisfy a yearning for a simpler life.

If you are like me, you have dreamed about living in all manner of wonderful log homes over the years. Log homes are dreams, and for me, the Eagle III by Golden Eagle Log Homes is everything I could wish for when dreaming of my cabin in the woods.
At first glance, the Eagle III looks like a large house, but that is due to the clever design and attractive accents. The floor plan offers three bedrooms and three bathrooms over 1,482 square feet. It can be easily customized to fit your perfect scenery.
The Eagle III has a classic log home design with a covered porch and two gabled windows projected from the upper floor. Let's go inside and explore further...
I don't know where to start with this great room: just wow! The soaring ceiling creates a light and airy living space, whilst that gorgeous fireplace is the perfect centerpiece to the home. The vertical space really brings out all the beauty of the wood.
Modern log homes require contemporary kitchens, and this charming house loses none of its rustic charm for featuring up-to-date appliances. That incredible oven will draw you back to the homespun lifestyle whenever it is dinnertime.
This loft represents everything I love about log homes: a recreational cabin where friends and family can enjoy the great outdoors and a relaxing home life. Evenings playing billiards would be amazing, and take note of the kayak that is easily stored in the roof space.
The screened porch entrance is great for shedding all the mud from a day in the woods. Alternatively, it can be used a quiet place for reading, contemplating, or simply relaxing.
The Eagle III has a generous porch, easily accessed from the main room of the house. The doors are designed to open wide, to allow the breeze to cool your home.
A floor plan shows a house, but it is the finishes that make a home. I love this sink!
The Eagle III has it all. It is a good size, a great design, and can easily be customized to your needs. The floor plan is simple yet powerfully effective.
