When we first laid eyes on this compact little cabin, we were completely enchanted by the idea of having a small space as a vacation home or hunting lodge. The challenge, however, was whether or not this 200-square-foot beauty was a practical choice for those with families. Luckily, this Lodge Deluxe from Trophy Amish Cabins, LLC proved that a clever layout can make all the difference.
According to the listing on Facebook, this sturdy lodge is constructed from a combination of cedar, maple and teak. The attention to detail and level of craftsmanship are apparent as soon as you cross the threshold, but we'll examine that more closely later. The model below features a green tin roof, but you can customize it according to your specifications.

On the side opposite the entry door, you'll find a generously-sized bunk bed — the bottom bunk fits a queen-sized mattress while the loft accommodates a full. There is also a built-in maple nightstand outfitted with an outlet for the bottom bunk and an additional little loft over the changing room.
That changing room houses the electrical wiring and can house a composting toilet.

The kitchenette contains that same live edge accent (look at the window trim!) throughout and has a storage loft above it.
The roll-out drawers and cabinets are built right into the structure, giving you plenty of storage space while offering you the freedom to decide which appliances you truly need. The counters are made of maple butcher block.
Despite its deceptively small exterior, this lodge is a surprisingly comfortable option for a weekend retreat.
