Welcome to the Sweetwater: A dreamy log home

Eloghomes designs and distributes this beauty: the Sweetwater log house. With a "palatial" total of 2981 heated square footage, the house includes anything a family would need. As they explain, it boasts 4 beautiful bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in one level and a half.
The image below shows one of the house's best features, the wrap around porch that Eloghomes claim on their Facebook page would be perfect "to relax in your rocking chair or porch swing." We must admit we agree with them. Not even the winter-like atmosphere on the picture is able to make that porch any less inviting.

The floor plans show how the first floor is composed by the master bedroom and bathroom, the kitchen that opens to the main room and dining room and a second bedroom and bathroom. In the second floor one can find the third bathroom, as well as two more bedrooms and a loft.
Can't you imagine yourself relaxing in this beautiful tub surrounded by the wood walls and those gorgeous wooden beams? The two bathroom sinks not only add functionality to the bathroom but also a touch of classic elegance.
It's difficult not to agree that the cathedral ceilings take the spotlight in the house's main room. The Eastern white pine contrasts perfectly with the stone fireplace and the reddish hardwood floors, allowing the triangular windows to shower the room with natural light.
This is another decoration alternative for the Sweetwater's main room, and it looks just as lovely as the first.
In the case there could be too much wood for you inside the house, this is another interesting decoration idea. Painting the ceilings in a white hue adds a more "urban" touch to the rustic atmosphere and also helps to reflect the natural light.
The master bedroom's walls are also partially covered with wood panels, giving the house that rustic touch that gives log houses that characteristic look.
Here you can see a different angle of the house's exterior. If you're interested in purchasing the preliminary blueprints of the house, they're available in their website
