Tucked away on an 80-acre property in Wisconsin, this stunning home provides the quintessential "cabin in the woods" experience with a few surprise upgrades. According to their website, Candlewood Cabins was founded in 1995 by Susan and Norbert Calnin, a couple dedicated to giving their guests the opportunity to experience the serenity of rustic living.
The log cabin is just one of four homes available for rent through Candlewood Cabins, each with their own distinct style and interpretation of cabin living. This model is closest to a traditional cabin, but even it contains a few surprise features that set it apart from the rest.

The facade is characterized by a large decorative gable, but we're enchanted by the sleepy-looking porch and beckons you to sit, slow down, and take in the spectacular verdant vista.
Here is the interior in all its splendor. As you can see, the great room has a cozy wood stove fireplace in the corner, and there are two twin beds behind the sofa.
The kitchen and dining room are equipped with all the amenities you'd need, and we adore how the green decor echoes the lush landscape.
Just upstairs in the loft is the den of relaxation. What better way to unwind than to de-stress in this stunning soaking tub before catching 40 (at least!) winks in this plush bed?
So inviting, and the built-in storage allows you to stow away any distracting clutter before turning in for the night.
The back patio boasts a fire pit and a charcoal grill, should you decide to dine al fresco or make s'mores.
No matter the season, this log cabin offers warmth within its welcoming walls.
