Tour this rustic custom home — the welcoming mudroom is a must-see

As beautiful as the Eagle Prow IV 1931AL from Golden Eagle Log Homes is on its own, we understand the desire to tweak the design so that the finished product is truly your wildest dreams come true. The home featured below, a custom Eagle Prow IV, is a stunning example of how to take a floor plan you already love and run with it.
According to Golden Eagle Log Homes, the standard Eagle Prow IV is 1931 square feet in total, with a 1379-square-foot ground floor and a 552-square-foot upper floor. As previously mentioned, the cabin below has undergone some changes from the original floorplan — the owners opted to forgo a lower level, and it appears that they converted the loft into another bedroom.

This cabin is perched on the edge of a lake, allowing the residents to enjoy both the water and the lush wooded area surrounding their home.
The mudroom is a must for families who engage in outdoor activities since it allows them to deposit their wet or muddy shoes and outerwear in a designated area without tracking it all over the house. Plus, it looks so welcoming!
The great room is characterized by its sky-high ceiling and colossal windows, bringing light into the space while maintaining its warm and homey atmosphere.
That one white wall keeps the wood interior from becoming overwhelming, and we love the compact kitchen island.
This dining room makes every meal feel special.
The master bedroom is just as cozy and warm as you'd expect. That lighting fixture is a gorgeous detail.
And here's a peek into the other bedroom.
Here are the floor plans for the standard Eagle Prow, without the customizations added in the house pictured above:
