Tour this beautiful custom timber house by Golden Eagle Homes with us

It's not every day we stumble upon a log home that captivates us so entirely, but this marvel drew us in and left us with silly grins on our faces. Too often, we see log cabins that conceal their innate beauty in favor of aggressively modern decor, but this majestic model from Golden Eagle Log Homes embraces its rustic roots.
This North Carolina log home was lovingly constructed with a custom hybrid timber frame, seamlessly combining disparate building materials for a unique look. When we venture inside, you'll see how the concept of mixing elements while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic plays out with the decor.
The log home features an expansive deck, allowing you to take in the beauty of nature while sipping your morning coffee.
The generously-sized master bedroom opens directly onto the deck and is decorated in a charmingly rustic style. Note how the different grains of wood play off each other.
This is the master bathroom, designed to ease your mind and soothe your senses. Can you imagine soaking in that tub and letting all your worries melt away?
The second bedroom also houses a sleeping loft, allowing you to host multiple guests comfortably. It may be a challenge convincing your houseguests to leave, however, as they're sure to fall in love with your living space.
From this angle, you can see a snippet of the great room, the kitchen, and the dining room. We're obsessed with the stonework on the breakfast island and how the support beams emphasize the high vaulted ceilings.
The great room certainly lives up to its name, what with the inviting seating options and warm natural light. It's also worth looking at the scalloped detailing at the tops of the windows, which soften the otherwise angular structure.
This. Dining. Nook. Not only does it practically seat a whole village, but configuration of the walls mimics a gazebo in the best possible way.
The lower level contains a large family room and bar area, both of which are necessary for all your entertaining needs.
The tile in the shower matches the tile over the counter to a tee.
With this grand log home, every day can feel like a weekend getaway.
For the curious, here is the floorplan of this show-stopping log home.
