Amish cabins offer quality construction at an affordable price

We've all got our dream cabins in mind. For some of us, nothing would be better than a beachside cottage where you hear the waves slapping the shores at night. For others, there's nothing that makes us happier than a cabin surrounded by nothing but woods for miles.
Wherever your dream cabin lays, the Amish Cabin Company can make it a reality. This Kentucky-based company works with Amish builders to make affordable cabins that they'll deliver "nearly anywhere." The Appalachian, for instance, is available starting at $16,348 for an unassembled 14' x 28' (392 square feet) kit, going up to $42,020 for a 14' x 36' that comes completely built and finished.

As they describe it in their website, this house is perfect for enjoying some nice views: "Rear and wrap around porches are a perfect addition to the Appalachian."
High ceilings really help to open everything up, and a bird's-eye view of the interior of one of the Amish Cabin Company units shows off the spaciousness they offer in such a small package.
The kitchen, for example, comes complete with a sink and upper and lower cabinets that offer plenty space for storage.
Looking up from the ground, the masterful woodworking really begins to shine. The designers leave all of the structural elements in plain view, and for good reason — it looks sensational. With the ceiling fully visible, the wonderful working of the eastern white pine is on display.
